Oh So Tasty Dairy Free Ranch Dressing Kids will LOVE

The most difficult part of being dairy free is the loss of creamy dressings and sauces. I LOVE Ranch, Bleu Cheese and similar dressings and am sad every time I put a vinaigrette on my salads. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good vinaigrette but it is just not as delicious as a creamy dressing.

If you feel the same way, you no longer need to be sad!! This amazing Dairy Free Ranch Dressing will satisfy just about any creamy dressing craving you may be having. The secret here is the “faux” buttermilk, made by adding vinegar to the Cashew milk. Even though this is a dairy free version, I think it is superior to “regular’ Ranch dressing in that the fresh herbs add a layer of flavor you cannot get with “out of the bottle” varieties.

I use this not only for salads but on potatoes, as a dip for veggies and, this one may be strange, as a dip for gluten free bread. I used to LOVE dipping French bread in Ranch dressing and now I can do that with the gluten free French baguettes I make. Oh, so delicious!!

Kids and Ranch dressing go together famously and if you have a dairy free child, they will LOVE this. My son Dawson is not dairy free but he totally loves this version of one of his favorite dressings.

Cook, Enjoy and Share!!!
